time mgmt

it's all about time now. whether it's the lack of or what to do with.
time for thesis, time for the family, time for personal development,
hmmm... and friends. there is always time for fashion, though.
cos in a way it's innate and unconscious. time flies.
soon it's 2010.

limited un-limit

from the 11th to the 13th, there was an independent magazines market, set up in the basement of a really cool, new (to me at least) building in 홍대 Hongdae.
i hauled only one publication. in the beginning i had my eye on almost every single offering, but alas, it's good to be selective & realistic. but i am hoping to expand my collection of korean magazines, beyond the commercial & mainstream.
p.s. a week of minus-degrees ahead of us. oh joy.

i love magazines. more than tv, actually.
but print is gradually heading towards near extinction.
it's sad & depressing. i wish there'd be a way of preserving its legacy
without a compromise in quality, content, creativity and that certain magic.
i love fashion blogs by people who have a unique voice and know how to follow their belief.
in my personal utopia digital media and the traditional will live happily ever after still finding a way to reinvent and change like it always did.

towards halloween

i went to johnny hates jazz on tuesday and it was effing amazing.
personally, one of the best korean brands.
she showed these modern glam, youthful yet sophisticated
and uncomplicated pieces down the runway.
100% covetable.
and i sighted the facehunter. hehe. twice.
there & 2 days later in hongdae.
it's like he's got wings on his shoes or something.
it's halloween soon & my photographer friend from singapore is visiting yay~
fun, inspiring & sensory overload.

beauty in the morbid

reading wikipedia the whole afternoon is also a way of spending one's sundays.
i wish there was a 'random button' on wikipedia like the shuffle button on itunes.
that would be a great source for inspiration, rumination and a bit of understanding.
