another month has passed & apathy has not.
seoul fashion week at least always offers some oomph.
this time i saw johnny hates jazz, giliyate, soft core, and moma by ya.
jhj the best. loved sc's changeable pieces. mby, nyc model looks, giliyate, reminds of forestpeople.

striped river

the frozen river had zebra stripes.
and i bought my first black pair of trousers of twenty ten.

limited un-limit

from the 11th to the 13th, there was an independent magazines market, set up in the basement of a really cool, new (to me at least) building in 홍대 Hongdae.
i hauled only one publication. in the beginning i had my eye on almost every single offering, but alas, it's good to be selective & realistic. but i am hoping to expand my collection of korean magazines, beyond the commercial & mainstream.
p.s. a week of minus-degrees ahead of us. oh joy.

what 6am in seoul looks like

another sleepless night for the studious.
what keeps me from slumbering?
the knowledge that i will miss this silence when it's bright again, maybe.
and the realization that come 2010 i might not be able to.

towards halloween

i went to johnny hates jazz on tuesday and it was effing amazing.
personally, one of the best korean brands.
she showed these modern glam, youthful yet sophisticated
and uncomplicated pieces down the runway.
100% covetable.
and i sighted the facehunter. hehe. twice.
there & 2 days later in hongdae.
it's like he's got wings on his shoes or something.
it's halloween soon & my photographer friend from singapore is visiting yay~
fun, inspiring & sensory overload.

study hard

my thesis is currently the only thing that drives me
but also restricts me.
it is good to take a break from time to time,
as long as you don't get too addicted.
procrastination is bad.

itaewon 1

itaewon has another side to the cheap-thrill image that it has.
it has calming layers that are hidden under the commerce and stereotype.
all of seoul has these different parts that need to be discovered.
and i do intend to as long as i live... here.
